 Linking Scorecards to their respective individual.

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to link the scorecard is the Performance Module.

How it works: The linking of a scorecard is based on the job title. The scorecard when uploaded is linked to a job title, every individual will then be linked to a job title. Then the scorecard will correspond with the respective individual based on the Job title.

Linking Scorecards to their respective individual:

• Navigate to the Performance Module, then Click on the Setup sub-module.
• Then click on the Job Set-up Module. If the Job title that you want to link to the Individual you will need to create it and save it.
• Then you will need to change or update the Individuals Job title on their Profile.
• Then create or check to ensure that the Job Title has a Scorecard linked to it.

Linking Individual profiles to line managers for approval.

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to link the scorecard is the Performance Module and the People Module.

How it works: The linking of an Individual profile to a line manager is completed on the individuals’ profile. On the profile in the “Employment Details Section” in the “Line Manager” slot is where the details of the Line Manager will be places.

Linking Scorecards to their respective individual:

  • Navigate to the Performance Module, then Click on the Setup sub-module.
  • Then click on the Job Set-up Module. If the Job title that you want to link to the Individual you will need to create it and save it.
  • Then you will need to change or update the Individuals Job title on their Profile.
  • Then create or check to ensure that the Job Title has a Scorecard linked to it.

Editing an already existing Job Title.

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to edit the Job Title is the Performance Module.

How it works: To edit the Job title you will need to access the Performance Module then select the “Set Up” sub-module then the “Job Setup” module. Once you edit a Job title it will not lose its scorecard it will simply be recognised under a different title.

Editing an already existing Job Title:

  • Navigate to Job Set-up.
  • Once there, click on the pencil icon to edit and then ensure that you click save.

Creating Scorecards.

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to create the scorecard is the Performance Module.

How it works: It is generally easier and faster to do a bulk upload when creating scorecards as it gives you a complete path of your scorecard design. To create a scorecard there is certain data that will need to already exist such as: Key Focus Areas, Strategic Objectives and Job Setups, these values will be used to create and link the scorecard. You will also need your Performance Measures, Weighting and Targets.

To create the actual scorecard, you will need to go to Performance measures. Then begin creating scorecards by clicking on “Add New Measure” on the Role of your choice.

N.B: [The “Role” that you select, must not have a scorecard already in place.]

Creating a Scorecard:

  • The easiest way to create scorecards is by using the Data Template to upload your Data.

Bulk Upload of scorecards and employee details.

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to complete a Bulk Upload is the Performance Module in the sub-module Set-up.

How it works: In order to complete a bulk upload of either scorecards or employee details, it requires you to download the “Data Template Spreadsheet” available on the iStratgo.

Firstly, navigate yourself to the Performance Module, the sub-module Setup. Scroll down your page and find “Bulk Upload”.

Then download the Data Template and populate it with the relevant information.

Then return to the same page and select the uploading of documents and then click upload. The system will then notify you on whether or not your upload was successful.

Adding new employee details and editing.

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to update Employee details is the Performance Module in the sub-module Set-up.

How it works: To add new details if it is for a few employees and want to do it individually yourself. Then you will simply navigate to the People Module, the sub-module “People Records” and then click on Employee Admin.

There you will find the employees profile you can simply search and make the edits [Click on the pencil Icon to edit.]

If you want to update the details of a group of employees then you can do the above navigation process, however instead select “Employee Bulk Update”. (In order to complete the Bulk Update, you will need to download the Data Template). Once populated with the information that needs to be updated. The system will then update all the relevant information.

Adding new employee details and editing:

Individually:

  • To edit employee details either do it individually profile by profile or you can do it as an upload all at once.
  • The system will recognise the changes and update as necessary.

Updating more than one Employee’s details:

Navigate to the same menu and  select “Bulk Employee Update”

An Appeal

Overview: The Module that you will need to access to link the scorecard is the Performance Module, the sub-module Performance Appraisals and then click on “My Scorecard”.

How it works: The process of an Appeal, involves an Individual submitting a scorecard that was declined by their Line Manager. Once the Individual requests an Appeal the scorecard is then sent to the Line Managers, Manager. This Manager will then need to act as a mediator regarding the Individuals final score.
